What I'm talking about here are games that, just as the title says, you just kinda stopped playing. It's not that you didn't like the game, it's not that you were bored by it...you might have even found yourself really enjoying it. But for some reason after the last time you played it you never went back to it to finish it.
For me, the latest in that category GRID 2.
Got it at launch, but the game had this glitch in it that basically stopped any progression in the career mode at a certain point, relegating all to have to race multiplayer. Problem there is that multiplayer isn't like racing, but more like a demotion derby (which is ironic because I heard they just released a free demolition derby mode as DLC for the game...for that?).
So I stopped, and not going back to it. Foolishly enough I bought it digital, so I can't even trade it in. Never again.
