Welcome to the Internet young Padawan. The home of basically anything, and everything offensive. If you don't like the content you see, rage, and nobody will care unless they share your views. I don't, jokes are for added effect, and while they may offend, only the affected people will care.

I agree as well...to an extent. A lot of his jokes about sexual orientation and such can be tasteless and just wrong, but A.) That's why 3/4 of his subscribers are subscribed. and B.) Some people have sick senses of humor, like moi. Me and my friends crack tasteless, horrible, jokes that will probably cause us to regroup in Hell, but we have a sick sense of humor, that's it. And there are more people out there who have it than you think. Plus, it's not like these are our 'views' or 'beliefs.' Over half of my friends are gay. They crack worse jokes than me. My parents crack racist jokes(we live in the ghetto), they aren't racist, but sme of them are just funny. Conclusion: Half of what you say I agree with, but some people are just tasteless(Exhibit A.)

Its just like any other joke. Not like it was "I hate gays.", or something like that. Just because he says the word gay a lot doesn't mean he hates them. A lot of people do that, and not everyone who says it hates them. Like I said its just a string of jokes, be a good sport about them. Like you know when you make a black joke and the black guy laughs? Do that. Good feels. Oh, also nothing against any of the groups mentioned, just an example.

I can agree that he sits and exaggerates with yelling the words "That is so gay/She is so gay/He is so gay" quite a lot. But I don't see where he says they are like aliens or animals.

I can also agree that it's pretty stupid of him to yell at the screen covering his face when he sees muscular men in speedos or just a man and a woman look at him in a certain way.

None of his joke were really that offensive, although as I said, covering his face in disgust just because he sees half naked men spinning or just a man or a woman that he thinks is a transsexual look at him in a funny way was indeed a little offensive.
And since those were not really jokes, but merely stupid ways to express himself I cannot really quote Stephen Fry and say "You're offended huh? So fucking what?" as I had planned.

While I agree with you that his stupidity with this video and his extensive sayings that he has nothing against gay people were dumb, I can only say you are making this way too much of a deal.

My opinion about this is, I wish people would be ALOT less sensitive on the internet.. You can hardly make jokes about anything anymore without someone being offended.
Hell, if someone told a joke about an octopus, I bet people who like tentacleporn would probably be all like "HEY, THATS RACIST!" or something.
Please understand that these are all jokes and not meant to spread hate or anything to a race or people with a different sexual interest..
I may be straight, but I know if I were bi or gay, I couldnt possibly give a single shit about gay jokes even if I wanted to. I wish others would feel the same as me on this.

No one is forcing the content on you, if you are offended, you don't have to watch it. It's not effecting you in any way, and it's keeping his viewers entertained.
No matter what anyone does, there will always be people "offended" and "outraged", because it is purely human nature to complain.
I can turn around and call my gay friends faggots, and they will laugh, and actually, none of my trans/gay friends who have watched pewds have ever been offended.

In a way I agree. I recently did a playthrough where I said the word "Wisp" in a slightly high school cheer leader voice and I had one person go "YOU HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST HOMOSEXUALS?!"

You will find that people love to jump to conclusions on the lovely web but hey that is part of the fun. There is nothing more awesome than seeing someone completely misinterpret something you do and then watching as they look like a fool.

On the topic of Pewdiepie though, isn't everything he says supposed to be taken with a pinch of salt? I mean I am sure his mouth acts faster than his mind but most of the stuff he splurts out is just for the silliness meter.

I dont think he mean it offensively and he is certainly not homophobic . He is just overusing some words too much when he is on fire and i dont think he even know about it . Its not like commentating on youtube is something you think about before you actually speak (most of the time i dont even know what i said 5 minutes ago in my videos) . You just spontaneously commentating thats all . Dont search for deeper meaning or hate or homophobia in his videos its not working this way and absolutely not in Pewdie case .

I didn't feel offended myself but he trully should stop using that word. We all know he uses gay, not as "homosexual", but as "bad". And yet, homosexuals people shouldn't feel concerned (as I do), but to be a bit more respectful to his community, he definitely should stop using that word.

Because even if it's not always offensive, it pisses me off sometimes.

I mean, Pewdie himself can act a bit homosexual sometimes and I often if he's a bit Bi (I'm Bi aswell) So I think that Pewdiepie is just a lot less sensitive about jokes than most people because I don't mind gay-jokes and neither do my gay friends.

I love gay people. Their sweet, funny, and in all reality - fabulous. I'm not saying this as a joke. I truly think their better than most of the straight people - their strong spirited, open minded, and they don't judge people because they themselves are constantly judged.

So when I say what I'm about to say - please no one take offense, as it's not a hateful thing - but an opinion.

To say that Pewdie is against homosexuals is going a little to far. It's meant to be a joke - and not at all meant to be offensive. As I said before, I support gays 100% - I was even part of the gay/straight alliance club at my school back in the day - and I'm not going to lie, I've said "That's gay", not at all thinking of males kissing males, or females sleeping with females. I don't mean it as a hateful thing against them. It kind of slips out. You hear it all the time - and it catches on without you really knowing it. I've caught myself a few times, and changed it to "That's stupid" but I think if anything, saying "That's gay" in a more serious tone is a lot more offensive than the way Pewdie says it - especially since his tone says in itself - "Heyyy this is meant to be a joke - not to be taken seriously".

You can't really be quick to judge him, and think he's saying it because he hates them - or is against it. He generally cares about his bros, and I'm sure he doesn't mean to hurt/harm anyone. I don't know him personally (sadly and obviously) but I highly doubt he's a hater against gays. I don't think I'd see him at a riot against gay marriage, sending hate messages to them, or telling them they need to die and kill themselves. That's not Pewdie and you can tell by watching his videos. I understand how it can be offensive, and I'm not saying it's wrong for someone to be offended- but I really don't think by him saying "gay" calls for him being homophobic.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that when Pewdie records his videos, their not planned. Their not written dialogue. So he just says what comes to mind, and he doesn't see it as being offensive. He's not meaning any harm about it - but I'm sure if he knew it was harmful, or hateful, he'd feel bad about it - he's really not a hateful person. At all.
