I don't believe I've seen a thread quite like this one yet - this is one of those questions that keeps my brain ticking at night due to being an insomniac. I always wonder where I would be happiest and where life is planning to take me, in other words I worry about the future A LOT. However I do have three certain ideas of places I'd love to live.

#1 - Wales: I seem to have developed a serious attraction to their accent over the last 2 years... I was hoping it would just be a phase like when I fell in love with Lucy Gaskell (British Actress) but nope... XD I also really love countrysides and Wales is pretty much exactly like an area near where I live which is beautiful. Other than that my City is a shit hole :z

#2 - America (Preferably California): I've always had a place in my heart for America... the weather, the drinks, the food, the thrills (theme parks, casinos) and best of all one of my American friends told me I'd be eaten alive by girls over there because of my name and accent XD What more could you want from somewhere!?

#3 - Finland: I had to research Finland for a school project a few years back and everything I learnt about it, I loved. It seems like my ideal home, everything I love in one place.... The music, the culture, the sports, the weather... *sigh* I know I'd never live there (Learning French was hard enough :p) but possibly a future vacation idea :D

    • UK - London. For no apparent reason, I just love British accents and I want to meet some British youtubers there also, SO.. YEAH. Plus if you live in an apartment, or somewhere kinda high, the view is awesome. :D And I heard the weather there is pretty good so.. :D

New York - Well I live at California already and everything, but I've always wanted to visit or live at New York since I was little. The sights are great and everything too. I would love to go to a college there and share an apartment with someone and enjoy the view.

Or I would stay here. I mean there are REALLY ghetto places here, but overall the weather can be nice. Sometimes. LOL. But yeah that's pretty much it I guess.
    • First of all I want to live in Australia, probably because some of my friends are there and yeah I would like to live in Sydney.

      #2- Europe

I just love Europe even though I haven't been there yet but I don't think I want to live there permanently so it's more like a temporarily stay :)
Places that I want to stay in Europe:
Paris, Rome and Isle of Wight~

And I would love to live in Penang again which is where I came from :) it's an amazing place and I miss it so much.
    • I like where I live, and personally don't see myself moving far away from my family unless I tie them up and take them with me. But, Here are some places I'd like to live, if I ever decide or need to.

1 - London. It was the number one place. Everything about London I love.

2 - New York for the sole purpose it's where you go to make dreams come true. For someone such as myself who wants to be a writer (or technically, a published writer) New York seems to be the number one place to go.

3 - Australia ... not going to lie, it's because of the very good looking boys (Thor is from there ;D)

I mostly would just rather travel the world than anything else.

    • I'd like to live in quite a few places lol.

      1. Japan - I've always wanted to go there and I like a lot of things like animes/mangas. The culture also seems very nice. Plus I'm interested in learning Japanese.

      2. Sweden - Sweden really interests me. Plus I like their accent and I wanna learn to speak Swedish.

      3. Germany - Basically the same as Sweden. It interests me and I wanna learn German.
    • Honestly I'm content with australia, but for sure i'd move to melbourne instead of where i am now. But if i were to move overseas.

1.) California, Place looks really great and has some interesting places.

2.) Dubai but that place is so damn expensive i don't think i would, even though its such a beautiful place.

3.) Sweden, I have a ton of friends i want to meet there as well as attending dreamhack would be cool.
      I dun Goofed it.

No idea who told you the weather was good over here XD We get all four seasons within about 20 minutes sometimes, weather forecasts are right about 5% of the time so if you've made plans you should ALWAYS have a plan B if it's something outside. England is infamous for its unpredictable rain -.- I do agree with you on the youtuber's thing though :p I'd like to meet some fellow British Youtubers :)

    • I've been pretty happy in New Hampshire, USA, though I do think there are quite a few places I'd prefer.

      1) Iceland! I really admire the culture, arts, and people from there--I've even spent the past two years learning Icelandic (which is a real pain). But the place is amazing; crime is pretty much nonexistent, the music is grand, and things seem to be going great there. Not to mention it is so damn beautiful wow.

      2) Chicago, Illinois! This place seems realistic 'cause there are few colleges from Chicago looking at me, so I can see myself going there... It's full of museums and theaters and nice places for artistic people. It's definitely one of those places where you can stand on your doorstep and have everything you've ever wanted or needed right in front of you. Really lovely city, and hopefully I'll get the chance to go there. :)

      3) Scotland!... I don't have much to say about this one except I love the accent, it's a pretty place, and the currency confuses me. Erm, I like it.
    • Wales is a really nice place :3 my family went there on vacation a couple of years ago to Carmarthen and it was lovely.

I either want to live in..
Italy: I fucking love the idea of living there so much. I love everything about it. I already have plans to do an Italian course in college and move there for the rest of my days, eating all the pasta and pizza I want. Fuck yea.

France: I love the thought of making a living in France too :3 I'd basically love to live anywhere in Europe, but France and Italy are my main interests. Plus I'm already doing French in school, might as well keep it on :3

America: Same reasons as you Rune :3

England: I went to Manchester not so long ago, and although the weather was worse than here (Ireland xD) I loved it to bits. Everything was just so modern and the nightlife looked amazing.

    • To be honest, I pretty much like where I live, but, there are a few places I would at least like to visit, and would be happy living in sometime :)

Italy - I dunno, I read a lot of books about the Romans and stuff, where swords were what was used to fight, and the Italian lifestyle of that time really appealed to me. Yeah, I know it's modern there now, but I still think there's a ton of history and stuff there, so ya know, could be pretty interesting :)

Scotland - My ancestors once lived there, and owned quite a few castles there, I think they were in line for the throne at some point (Robert the Bruce, as he was later known, destroyed us XD ) so I guess it would be pretty fun to see the old castles and culture there :) Oh, and I love the Scottish accent.. Not sure why..

Russia - Just because. It's massive, they have vodka, and they are awesome. Nuff said :P
