Cool intro's + Sony Vegas

Get Adobe After Effects. and follow some tutorials or YouTube.

Check out videocopilot.net . And yea, after effects is 100% needed.

You can make decent intro's with vegas.
But not superawesomemindblowing-cool.

I wouldn't call the majority even decent.

Well, its all about the standards we have on an intro.

You can only make a good intro easy if you have decent graphical skills and know how to port all the layers into Sony Vegas and realize yourself the movement and such.

True, i might post my vegas-intros here when i get home.
They arent good, but works in the worst scenario.

I'm no expert but since you are new to making intro's/videos I would actually recommend you to start with Vegas and follow some tutorials on youtube
and when you feel you can handle Vegas than go over to Adobe after effects.
I just started using a little adobe after effects and well it's kinda hard, but it is like they say, Practice makes the master.
