What's your PC specs first so we will know what's the problem. I think it's the slender's graphics engine thatmakes it lag. However if your CPU and GPU is not even in the minimum, you will have a bad time for sure. Bandicam is a lot better than fraps. Render it to vegas pro, then use handbrake.

Pretty sure it's his specs that's the problem based on what he's given us so far. Also, Bandicam has always been slower than Fraps for me, and my laptop has 4 cores @ 2.1GHz each. Maybe it's just me though.

I use Fraps to record everything. At first my Slender recordings were a bit laggy.. (Well, I actually didn't know that it was laggy until I played the game will I wasn't recording. )
What I did:
-Click the 'Movies' tab in Fraps
-Look at the video capture settings (under the capture hotkey)
-Click 'Half-Size'
This will record your video at half the size it would normally. And since it would normally record at such a high quality, you won't be able to see much of a difference once your video is all rendered out. That should help a little with both the lag and file size. The files won't be tiny, but they'll be a little smaller. Just delete the raw video once you're done editing and rendering. That should leave you enough space on your hard drive to continue recording.. Or do what I'm going to do!
I'm planning on getting a 1TB external hard drive and I'll keep it plugged in while I'm recording and I'll have Fraps send the recorded files directly to the external hard drive. That way it shouldn't effect your computer's performance during the process.
Hope this helped! -
Maybe off topic but I don't feel like making a new thread. What is best for recording flash? Bandicam is super slow for no reason (for me), and Camtasia Studio, which I'd used for years, has become crap.

I don't really know what's the problem on Bandicam, what game are you recording? And use the preset For Sony vegas/adobe premiere and you should be fine.

Was using it to record flash games like Happy Wheels, The Binding of Isaac, The Basement Collection, etc. For some reason, it doesn't like flash at all.

Use rectangle recording, not directx -
I do, that's the weird part. Though mine's a tad old, I'll update it when I have the time and try again.

How do I check that?
Also, here is the "long Slender video" I eventually uploaded.

In game, I noticed it lagging a lot. To the point where all I had to do was hold down the W key for about...10 seconds to get to the end of a long hallway. -
Search Speccy on google and dl the free file.:)

I don't know if I should post, but...
I tried this "Handbrake" program, and it didn't load for my computer. Plus, I don't exactly trust this program. Any other ideas for file size?
