I am absolutely for certain that this has answered before, but I don't have the time to go through every fraps thread or gaming thread to check.
I started recording myself playing horror - only horror. So far, I've only played Slender. Each time I use fraps to record Slender, it lags. Is it from Fraps, or is it the game? I looked at the "Check here if Slender is slow" thing on one of the text files - and it says to use postprocessing=0 and useeffects=0. I did that, and it still lags. Then it tells me to try using Width=x and Height=x on the text file - but I don't know how to do that. Is it the game that's lagging, is it fraps, or is it my computer in general? Also, when I finish the recording, the file size is big. I'm currently rendering a 3-attempt Slender video on my computer, and it says there is still 3 hours left of rendering. I remember clicking on a thread saying something about making a good fraps video so the file isn't so big, but unfortunately,
my browser doesn't seem to remember that history, nor do I remember the title, nor poster. IF someone has had this exact same question, and it has been answered, please link me to the thread.
