Personally I love the game series he does from time to time. Just like Catherine or the Telltale games. But shorter videos are just more popular. As long as he does what he loves I'm fine with it.

Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle is pretty much the best retro game that pops into my mind. Other than that you may wanna try Chrono Trigger or the Megaman series.

I would definitely give the Deponia Triology a try. Especially the third one(Goodbye Deponia). It's a beautiful Point and Click- Adventure with an awesome soundtrack and great humor. You can check it out here. deponia.de/en/
