Name: Max Lingley Channel name: GameFace YouTube Video: (Hidden Content) Quick Description: Hello! I'm Max & I've been running GameFace for over 2.5 years now. It's been an absolute blast! Joining me are my girlfriend Lin, and our good friends Mack & Ryan. Lin & I have been together for almost 11 years now, and if there's one thing we love to do, it's sit down together and enjoy a game! I have my first multiplayer memories playing Super Mario Kart with Ryan, and Mack was my main gaming companion…

  • Mainstream VS ...Weird? I guess?

    GameFaceMax - - Real Life

    Post

Those people sound like a big old bundle of boring. To bash someone or something simply because it isn't mainstream is completely inane. Being an individual means having your own identity, and if everything about you is "mainstream".... well then you're not much of an individual, are you?

Was it a PC game or for a console? The closest thing I can think of is Jak & Daxter for PS2, but that's a pretty big shot in the dark.

  • What mic's do you use?

    Post

I have the Blue Snowball and the Blue Yeti. The Snowball is an excellent budget mic and definitely a great choice, but I definitely recommend the Yeti if you can. It's worth the investment.

  • What game system do you prefer?

    GameFaceMax - - Other

    Post

I would go with my Wii I think. It's got all my GameCube games on it, which is my favorite game system. All my Wii games are setup using and ISO launcher so that I can play them all without needed the discs, and all my classic games can be loaded via emulator! If it had more Nintendo 64 games playable, it would be no contest.

  • Saints Row or GTA series?

    Post

I really enjoy both. They both offer very different experiences. GTA is definitely the more complete experience with a vast, world that sometimes feels alive. The scope is extremely impressive. You have to admire how much care went into designing the games. Saints Row shines with it's customization and insanity. The newer GTA games got very realistic, which is all well and good... but I love the arcady feel and Saints Row delivers. It's non stop madness and zany feel keeps me coming back for mor…

  • I think this is an excellent idea, and I give you major props for your ambition and desire to help out us little guys! I love the idea of aiming to create a community, as well as perhaps doing weekly highlights and the like! I'm all for being a part of this.

  • making videos.

    Post

I did it on a whim to see if I could stand listening to the sound of my own voice. I love playing video games, so that part was a must. I'm pretty shy around people I don't know extremely well, and I find that recording these videos helps me deal with that anxiety and I feel more outgoing as a result. I really love everything about it. Recording games with my friends, learning new things while editing, hearing the feedback after posting a video, and everything else involved in the process! Plus …

  • Older Games that you still play??

I still play older games as much as I do never ones! I've been revisiting a lot of my favorites for my channel... currently playing through Banjo Kazooie, Mega Man X2, Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, and Goof Troop. When I have company over we mostly play older games. Recently we've been playing a lot of.... Mario Tennis, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Worms Armageddon, Super Monkey Ball, Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4, Soul Calibur 2 (GC), Mario Kart, Perfect Dark, Super Mario Strikers, and Pokemon Puzzle…

  • Oh man, so many games for so many reasons..... here are just a few off the top of my head. • Really impressive work man! Those thumbnails are phenomenal.

  • I've watched LP's of both, and I have no intention of playing because I'm a wuss. Having said that, Outlast is definitely the scarier game of the two from my point of view. It's constantly frightening. The monsters are scary as hell.... not knowing whether or not the "people" you run into are going to attack you or not keeps you on your toes, the use of night vision is handled really well. It's just plain brutal. Amnesia on the other hand, is the king of atmosphere. Something about these games f…

Quote from Pyronium: “I talk to the principal today and im changing school next year, a new school with like 1000 peoples. So i won't have a choice but to talk to people. I bet I'll find tons of weirdos like me. That was the 5th time I bother the principle for this. He finnaly accepted. I found the email of my old school psychologist in my notesbook. I'll do my best to, think about something else. I'll start to listen to animes again, they made me happy a while ago.” Sounds like a fresh start is…

  • Random Dislikes

    Post

Don't let a couple of dislikes get you down. Most likely they are just some random internet troll who didn't even watch the video. What's important is that the majority of people watching your videos genuinely enjoy them. Just remember that if someone does post some actual constructive criticism on a video, don't go on the offensive. Takes that criticism in stride and maybe even take it to heart if they have a point.
