  • Server overheating?

if you buy a better cooler it may still fix the issue, though with the processor you're running you could buy a new one for the same price of a half decent heat sink anyway, cpu's arn't as expensive as people make out, maybe you could upgrade to dual core which would improve your performance especially with the ivybridge pentium dual cores which can be found for £70 in some places

Sounds like poor contact between the cpu and heatsink, you may want to remove the heat sink, clean off the old thermal compound and replace it with a even coating across the heatsink, use a credit card of a gloved finger to do it. If it's not even coating then the heat won't be distributed from all parts of the cpu, and will cause some parts to be warmer than others.

press windows and r, then type in dxdiag and hit enter. In this you can find out all the information on your graphics set. AMD Radeon is perfectly sufficient for gaming, generally cheaper than Intel NVIDIA, but just as good in gaming as long as it's a powerful enough chipset. Obviously this means nothing if your CPU and RAM isn't powerful enough and what games you plan on going into.

To be honest, with the spec you're running your not really gonna get much out of gaming, you might want to look into getting a better spec system. You can get some pretty decent refurbished computers for around £100 that would be better suited to gaming, or if money isn't as much of an issue you can easily make a custom pc for less than £400 that could play those kind of games at ease. The modern pentium processors are pretty good for high-end gaming and are cheaper than the i5 and i7, many peop…

one other possible problem could be that your PSU isn't powerful enough, when it starts doing stuff like gaming the GPU requires slightly more power, and if you don't have enough Watts left it'll just loose power, sometimes the whole computer shuts off, or sometimes the device goes weird for a few seconds and the OS detects that issue and turns off the program or hardware causing the issue. How may Watts is your PSU and how old is it?

check your directX config windows key + R type in: dxdiag hit enter check all the 3D acceleration is enabled and other related components, if it says anything like unsupported it might be that your graphics card is not capable of playing the games but i doubt this. next step would be to make sure you have the latest version of directX. if none of these help then try to change to openGL graphics in the games' settings menu in the video options, openGL might work better for you but it can make the…

almost 9 million subscribers, something tells me his fans don't care if he swears and there are plenty of hate websites and messages against pewds and not one of them has had any effect, the kid can make 1000 hate videos and it wouldn't have an effect except for having themself removed from youtube as hate messages and malicious videos can be seen as a form of cyber bullying and therefore can have legal ramifications, so if anything the kid will screw themself over.

  • as Kemerd said, check the fans are fine. Make sure all the vents are not clogged up with dust as that reduces the air intake. If the issue keeps happening and it seems to be a temperature issue then you may want to look into getting a better cooling system, liquid coolers are best but they can be very expensive, copper pipe heat sinks should work, ones like this: overclockers.co.uk/showproduct…ZA&groupid=701&catid=2330 and this overclockers.co.uk/showproduct…TR&groupid=701&catid=2330 will get th…

human body is essentially a biological computer, we work on electrical impulses. Our brain's act as processing units where we make connections and outputs through stimuli experienced from the outside world. Unlike computers, we can create new connections and fundamentally learn from our surroundings, thus known as intelligence. As with all machines, you turn the power off it stops working. When we die the electrical impulses stop, we cease think, unlike a computer where it can be restored by res…

create a routine for your days, a simple calender of what to do at what times, set alarms to remind you to come off the computer or whatever, it will help you organise your life and take more responsibility. As far as anger management goes; martial arts, gyms and sports are a good way to vent anger. Martial arts especially will teach you discipline which helps a lot towards getting better at being more responsible.

You're lucky, you haven't had to deal with the pain of breaking up with someone you really care about. You're only 14, you've barely seen life yet, don't be in such a hurry to find relationships, they can be the best thing that's ever happened to you, but they can also be the worse thing to ever happen and leave nothing but pain.

Will proly just eat a bit more ram depending on what settings you use and that's about it. 2. You can always bet on compatibility issues with older apps when upgrading your operating system. Windows 8 is essentially windows 7 but with a different start menu and better performance. I loved it, didn't have any issues and metro was easy to get used to. I got it for free though through my college, i'm not sure it's worth buying when you already have windows 7. If you are planning on buying it, wait a month or two and 8.1 will be out which has windows aero re-integrated and the option to disable metro and turn back to windows 7 style taskbar, which essentially makes it just a much faster…
