I think Seiko was just messing with Naomi in the beginning to purposely make her feel awkward and to be funny. Both of them really. But now knowing that Seiko has actual real feelings for Naomi makes more sense to why Seiko would kill herself in the first place over Naomi. Even without this whole weird thing controlling Naomi, and even Seiko. She loved her, and thought she was hurting her or felt really bad about what she did to the person she loved.
