I find it easier with them not spoilered personally, mostly because unless it's a parallel monitor it's going to take up 400px-ish tops and you can quickly scroll through and see them without having to click every spoiler button. Obligatory "I'm still posting my desktop": ApElfY7.jpg

Quote from Gonzo Snake: “Not the point. They're really large, and there's people who just barely have 1 MBPS. If there's too many large images being loaded at once and your internet can't handle it, it will stop loading the images and you'll have to refresh/find the link to see it.” Spoiler tags don't stop images loading, all they do is put display: none in the CSS and call it a day, they'll still load in the background. And to stay in line with the thread (not sure why my far left taskbar is do…

Get a large and fast hard drive. Or if you have a decent CPU use OBS to record instead, very little (if any) quality drop and it's encoded + compressed on the fly (hence the need for a decent CPU).

First thing's first, check that the splitter outputs perfectly on both ports, plug it into two screens and see if they're identical and don't suffer from degradation. Easy check so you might as well rule it out early on. And then list off your PC specs.

Quote from Gonzo Snake: “Quote from Ben: “vBulletin 4's Impex (Impex being their import system) supports Burning Board 3” doesn't matter, they just want the money” Odd thing really, they don't gain anything financially-speaking from not importing, except maybe if they have to hire someone to do the import for them (£100 tops? Pretty sure the vBulletin guys charge 120 euro).

vBulletin has LOADS of importers, it's not a technical limitation by any stretch. vBulletin 4's Impex (Impex being their import system) supports Burning Board 3, I just downloaded a copy of Impex to double check and there is indeed a set of import scripts for wbb3 into vBulletin 4. It's incredibly easy to do too. That'd import posts, threads, users, everything but the wbb3 specific stuff (so Gallery and Webdisc, which can be re-done). Dogecoin is another Bitcoin spin-off, there's hundreds of ones with pretty lame names now (Memecoin, Trollcoin, etc). Unusually though, unlike the others Dogecoin is actually gaining some traction. On topic: all the links are broken, your site doesn't actually appear to load.

I'm going to write this as if you were asking pre-purchase, because really there's no point otherwise. You can always send stuff back. 8gb of RAM will bottleneck you a bit on that, may want to go for 16gb (RAM is cheap as chips anyway!). Get 8gb sticks if possible, it's a negligible price difference and leaves room for upgrades. Which WD is that? Greens are slow, Red/Black is what you want to look at. Which Samsung SSD is that? Highly recommend the 840 Pro series, I have their 120gb model and it…

  • Which relationship is better?

    Cue - - Real Life

    Post

Would it be apt of me to say that the best relationship I've ever been is my current long distance met-online-but-knew-IRL-already relationship? And not just because she's watching. Incidentally it's also the first time I've dated outside the general social circle. Historically dating within the social circle (so real life, non-long-distance) has caused rifts and whatnot due to drama, not being able to spend time with and pay attention to the group, etc. Dating within the same academic institute…

  • Quote from KattStrike: “It's funny how YouTube will consider a video with repeated tags (like saying "the" more than once) as spam, and will push your video down the page, but it won't sort out spammy comments? I agree that whenever I see a "ohhh I got an iPad from this link..." comment or any other spam, I will report it as such. Maybe we should start a petition for YouTube :p "No more spam!" Hahaha 8)” You can filter poorly SEO'd tags fairly easily (repetition, etc) but spammy comments are ver…

  • Quote from Keizaron: “Doesn't != mean "not equal to"? If so, people are freaking out on Cue for no reason.” Yes, it does. Apologies, I thought this was a fairly well known fact? Since you can't do a slashed equals very easily on here it's generally easier to do != which means "not equal to".

  • You guys need to understand Views vs. Retention Rate. And also learn that just because one equals another, doesn't mean it's the other way round too. Retention Rate is a percentage, it is defined by if people watch all of your video, it isn't based on views. You will have a bad retention rate if people don't watch the entire video (Youtube analytics will tell you how many do). I was not talking about views. Obviously you can have low views and high quality, retention is completely different. Peo…

  • Small != Bad Quality though. If you produce good content, you will have a higher retention rate. It's nothing to do with your size. If you're not producing good quality stuff then don't publish it and practice more, simple as. You don't need to be big to be high quality, the only thing being big adds is an equipment budget and financial motivation. EDIT: != means not equal to.

  • Develop a Game, but how?

    Cue - - Help

Not so much the built-in assets as I never use stock stuff, moreso the actual primitives (cuboids, cylinders, etc). It's surprising what you can do with them, after all Thomas Was Alone is just a bunch of cuboids with an Orthographic camera. They definitely have their ups and downs, but calling Unity an inefficient and poor engine is definitely not right (that's not towards you FYI). Maybe I'm just bitter, there's a lot of stuff that goes on at my university involving UDK (we sponsor the Make So…

Quote from Shikieiki Yamaxanadu: “Go with Unreal, Unity is unoptimized and a resource hogger.” Citation needed. UDK is a horrible engine to work with, I've given it a poke before and it was not a pleasant experience at all. I know 4 university course's worth of students using it and they hate using it. The editor is clunky and slow and eats away at your resources like nobody's business. Unity on the other hand I recently started working with and absolutely love it. While UDK is basically FPS or …

That means rendering 3D games, so the majority of things you'd play. CrossFire and SLI both introduce "micro-stutter" which is an effect caused by offloading the frames to multiple GPUs (alternate frame rendering usually, aka taking it in turns to render frames) thus you get FPS drops. More Info.
