I've set up a WLAN Access Point with a usual AVM Fritz Box WLAN Stick and a rpi 1b at a local barber shop. Works flawless as hell with 5+ people, even though it gets hard resetted by power loss every night. Okay it took a bit hacking, like forcing the service to restart even though the service pid is still there because of hard reset.

  • AW: What is a Team speak?

    SolSoCoG - - Technology

Teamspeak consists of servers and clients. You need the IP of a Teamspeak server to connect to. Other clients will do aswell and you can talk to them through the server. For suggestions other than game suggestions I would use forums.pewdiepie.com/index.php/Board/56-Bro-Corner/

Hmm, well well. It's not that you can't play no games at all. Lately, I've got a Heroes of the Storm Alpha key, and I ran it with wine without a hassle.

Hey there, just wondering how many Bros are Linux Users? And what is your history/opinion of using Linux (in Gaming)? I've been using Linux since Oct 2005, when a friend gave me an Ubuntu 5.10 Live CD. I was 14 1/2 years old back then. I was pretty much pissed by the fact that I couldn't run any Windows programs/games and stopped using it after a week or two. Then I found myself a Linux guru, who educated me in Linux in 2006. I started using virtual servers with Linux on it. After noticing virtu…

I dislike it aswell for the above told reason. I used some adblock and tapatalk recently started blocking the app usage for such people. Not using adblock anymore though. I guess the mobile Version for WBB4 is decent enough.

  • There has also been an "engine" switch, the board is now running on a WAY more secure and stable webserver than before. No, not nginx, thats what we switched from. I've been using it personally for some years now, it is made by a paranoid person which focuses on stability and security. We are now using hiawatha_392x72.png

  • Torch Browser's Worth to You

    SolSoCoG - - Chat Box

    Post

I remember Torch as not being a virus, but a bloated, laggy browser (after a while of use). DownThemAll does the splitting aswell. Torrents are usually always downloaded splitted (because of the principle of seeds / peers, you get specific parts from specific seeds etc.) Splitting a download could make downloading from Oneclickhosters impossible. I recommend and use Waterfox - The fastest 64-Bit browser on the web with AdBlock Edge (with several exceptions, just don't like too much of ads), Disc…

  • A little WordPress Pingback DDoS (secure your XMLRPC file, dear bloggers, thanks) of 54,432 concurrent connections peak made the PHP backend go crazy. After analyzing the problem, we managed to stop such requests before they can stress the backend.

After that, 3 friends of mine who also bought the CE, aswell as me lost all interest to the game. I'd call it pretty boring and not worth playing even as f2p. I heard ArcheAg…
