You can find a lot of free games on IndieDB. A lot of indie creators upload their games here in early alpha or beta stage, so it's quite interesting to report the bugs that you may encounter while playing, and you can make suggestions directly to them.

You don't need to be partnered to monetize your videos. You just need to sign up for it (it's somewhere in your profile options). I've done it to unlock the custom thumbnail option, but I don't monetize my vids in fact.

I have a Steelseries Siberia V2 headset, so it comes with a microphone. I'm not a specialist but I really like the audio quality (never played with a headset before, it changed my life), and the mic is decent with a pop filter on. For the facecam, I have a Logitech Pro C920 webcam (awesome). Oh, and I record my gameplay with Fraps on my computer and a HD PVR for console games, and render my files with Sony Vegas Pro 11.

If you take a look at the suggestion thread on this forum, you can find really good games here. Sometimes people try to advertise some games they made themselves and are very happy to have feedback, and doing a let's play or gameplay vid makes more advertising for them

I know it's not a big problem of course, it doesn't prevent me to sleep at night don't worry x') I would just like to understand why some people have them and others don't. I have the same avatar since the creation of my channel so it's more than 2 months now. If it's just YouTube being a bitch, I'm going to live with that Thanks for your answers pals! o/

Hi! I realised something on YouTube: when I reply to a comment on one of my vids or put a comment anywhere, I have the YouTube no-avatar pic instead of my own one. Is there something wrong with mine so that it doesn't display correctly with the comments? O_o

I finally uploaded my next video! Rendering took way more time as I had to make several tries because of random crashes and errors in Sony Vegas. I tried it (my LP is rendering in Vegas as I type this message). It was the first version and I didn't have any issue with it. I was able to play and record myself in 720p without too much lag on my laptop (only a bit at some times). I liked it a lot, I just have to get better at it because (Hidden Content)

I know what you mean, it's a lot of work. I manage to upload at least one vid per week, sometimes two. It's difficult when you work 8 hours a day and have a life If it's too much work for you, just slow it down a bit. If it takes too much time and involvement, it's not going to be fun anymore. And fun is why one makes LPs
