It's caused by the same thing that causes the issue with the editor from time to time. If adds, stylesheets, or the javascript are still loading once the page content has fully been rendered, it can cause certain things to break or go into an endless loading loop. This is in fact less common with Chrome, because they handle it better. But it's usually caused by ads or a crappy connection.

It's randomly generated, so some are next to impossible from what I've encountered. Damn though, I need to up my game! Gotta get a better score now. xD

Not bad scores for your first tries! Yeah, the detection is a little buggy, but for a 10+ish year old game, it's alright. Highest I ever got was about 7k, but now I can't seem to get past 1800! Gotta keep trying. xD

Was using it to record flash games like Happy Wheels, The Binding of Isaac, The Basement Collection, etc. For some reason, it doesn't like flash at all.

Maybe off topic but I don't feel like making a new thread. What is best for recording flash? Bandicam is super slow for no reason (for me), and Camtasia Studio, which I'd used for years, has become crap.

Pretty sure it's his specs that's the problem based on what he's given us so far. Also, Bandicam has always been slower than Fraps for me, and my laptop has 4 cores @ 2.1GHz each. Maybe it's just me though.

What kinda games do you have?

Wonder how many contestant can't even run the game? I know I didn't enter because my computer would die in a fire xD Also, how many peeps are we up to yet?

That's actually a really good suggestion! For the longest time I had my Fraps videos go to a 64GB USB drive, and it made the FPS easily go from 20 to 50+. People underestimate just how much lag disk activity can cause! (This goes for having things like iTunes running in the background, which can lag you terribly.) Most people don't have a different harddrive or even partition, but there's always USB external hard drives as well.

You can change the codec in Fraps? :O Maybe I need to update mine then.. but yeah, I used FPS of 15 and you usually can't tell the difference, but smaller files.

WMV is configurable. I get alright quality with small files (70mb for 20min or so of video at 720p).

Tbh I've bought both Fraps and Bandicam and Bandicam has given me nothing but trouble and epic lagginess.. Fraps doesn't lag for me unless I set all the graphics extremely high. Sony Vegas is the same thing I use, just render as WMV and your files should be smaller.

You can reduce the file size with Windows Movie Maker by re-rendering the file as a WMV format. For the lagging, like I said, reduce the quality/graphics/resolution of the game and close anything else running in the background. That's all you can do sans buying a better PC.
