  • xQPBK4uKUPA.jpg Hello bros! My name is Eddy. You may remember me as the developer of Slender's Woods, which Pewdie played back in the end of 2012. Since then I released a couple of other projects, but most of them weren't horror related. But recently I've finished my new horror game called The Mask Reveals Disgusting Face and it took me almost half of year (with delays, though) to put this thing together. The game has a quest-like gameplay with some action parts and it features pixelated 3d grap…

This is the first RPG maker game that I've played from beginning to end. Pretty good puzzles and atmospheric storyline.

  • The guy who made the game did made a game about SCP before, but it wasn't a well known game. I mean, it's not from the guy who made the famous SCP 087. It's just some russian dude. The game is nothing special. It's just a dark labyrinth with a bunch of jumpscares. Don't know what else to say about it, honestly.

  • Quote from TheNewGuy123: “ PL from yamimash who said it's SCARIEST GAME THIS YET ” Not a big surprise. Indie horror Let's players keep saying things like that about almost every game they play.

  • The objective reminds me of Slender a bit.

  • It seems like the only thing you care about is the number of let's play videos, right? Did you fixed the problems I've mentioned? Are you gonna take the criticism?

  • "Played" it. The beginning was promising, but in the end, I was disappointed. The game suffers from the same issues as your previous games. Pointless gameplay, clumsy design, weak storyline. In was sligtly better, since more interesting stuff happened, but it wasn't a big improvement. Even the clicking bug is still there (you can click at objects from any distances), though I clearly told you to fix it when you released Insert Title Here. Why are you ignoring the feedback, Anothink? I would also…

  • Screens remind me of AOMDC and HalfQuake. Gonna give it a try. I hope this will be better than your previous so-called "experimental" games, with boring rooms and random voices on the background.

  • I got stuck, but so far, I really liked the game. It's very professional made, and I like the setting. Much, MUCH better than all these cheap slender copies which were released past months. So sick of them.

This game is extremely repetitive and clumsy. I've watched some guy playing COOP on it and it was really boring. Nothing interesting happened. Plus, I've got a feeling that if Pewdie will play it, it will inspire other developers to make more crappy Slender copies.

Multiplayer saves this game. Other than that, it's one of the worst Slender copies I've ever seen. No effort was put into this.

  • I played the game again and I have to say, I really liked it this time. It scared me a few times, and I'm glad what this is not just another Slender clone. The atmosphere is creepy and there's no annoying jumpscares. Good job! I would recommend to add more background music, though.

  • Pewdie did said that he's tired of Slender game copies in his Haunt video IIRC.

I'm sorry, but I think you guys should understand something. This game is made on FPSC engine. This means, it has a lot of recycled stuff. Since FPSC is a very primitive engine, almost every game made on it will look and play similiar. Everything you see on the screenshots wasn't made by the developer, for the most part. The flashlight model, the textures, the programming - it was mostly produced by the creators of the engine, the developer just used it for his game. He obviously didn't put much…

Quote from RaduPhantom: “Is it just me, or is really dark in this game....? I can't see sh*t in that vid.” Sadly, most of today's indie horror games are dark. Seems like that's the only way the developers know how to set up the atmosphere.

Watched the LP. The game looks suspiciously like Slender (find something before monster gets you). Plus, recycled FPSC graphics. What this has to do with the Rake mythos, besides the name of the game?

  • The choice of the engine is really interesting, I like how you developed it yourself. Hope you'll make the game better and more atmospheric.

  • I can see the idea behind this (short, simple game with some scary moments), but don't we have enough games like that already? I mean, there's a freaking lot of various short and simple indie horror games, especially Slender influenced. No offence to the developers, but presonally, I'm sick of games like that. Here's some common things about most of them: 1.Always released on alpha or beta state. 2.Clumsy graphics and poor design. 3.The only "scary" thing about these games are the jumpscares. 4.…

  • Watched Markiplier's LP. Pretty weak and clumsy game. The jumpscares become repetitive very quickly, and it borrows from Slender too much.
