the game is based before the first Fnaf one because on the first one phone guy says the bite of 87 that foxy bit a child in the 1987s and on the paycheck it says xx on the year but in this one Fnaf2 the paycheck says 1987 and foxy in this one has his jaw normal and in the first game its broken and on night 6 in Fnaf2 he says that they are gonna have a birthday party which is when the bite will happen so a child was bit by foxy and they made it so that the animatronics couldnt move during the day…
