One year ago i wouldn't think I will be in finland right now. 2500km away from where I live. You can't predict where you will be in one year most of the time. And one month ago I wasn't thinking about visiting Japan too. So everything can go pretty fast :).

Hey, Try to get some informations about distance studies. So you can pass the tests. There is a huge difference at the university. From my personnal experience : I did a baccalauréat S. I did not like it AT ALL. was bored of the mentality etc. After that, I went on a "DUT informatique" you can go there as long as you got the baccalauréat with a correct mark (like 10/12). It depends but for huge projects yeah... If you are not doing like me, some full armor character (Halo for exemple), it can be nice but yeah it's not the cheapest thing.

If you like creative stuff and video games/manga/anime there is cosplay that can be nice. It's also a great opportunity to meet new people.

Sometimes you have to call multiple times. Not everyday. But at least it will show them that you are interested.
