Awwww, Edgar looks so deeply sad when Pewds is hugging him

  • Does anyone remember Ask A Ninja? I didn't realise how old the guy behind the mask was until I saw his more recent series, Poorly Explained So yeah, when the younger YouTubers get older I'm sure they'll find a way to keep making entertaining videos!

  • Quote from kalaongelma: “So I think I'll at least consider that (though money may still be a problem).” I've just checked a list of countries participating in the Erasmus programme, and Finland is one of them! I'm not sure how it works for people who aren't at university, but people from most universities in the UK who want to go abroad for a year, as part of their Modern Languages degree (in fact it's usually compulsory), are entitled to an Erasmus grant! It's not intended as something that you…

  • Whoa! Thrilled to hear so many of you love languages like I do! Kalaongelma, that's correct, it's not just languages that employers are looking for. It can also be very challenging, especially getting accustomed to another culture. There are lots of web…

  • Chat Suggestion

    Post

Hello, I have a suggestion for the Chat box. I think that you should be able to scroll up higher, ie: see more earlier posts. I posted something in Chat and was then away from the page for a few minutes. By the time I came back to the page, my post had gone and I couldn't see if anyone had replied. Also, if lots of bros are on Chat, it could be very hard to keep up with the posts as they would keep disappearing in a matter of seconds.

  • I'm from the UK, but I'm currently in Germany on a Year Abroad as part of my uni degree. I'm working as a language assistant in a college, mostly doing conversation classes with small groups so they can practise their English. After uni I would like to be a translator - which I think is what most of the lecturers half-expect us to become. The funny thing about that is that we only study translation for professional purposes in the final year, and I don't think we get the chance to specialise in …
