If by "Its a Trap" you mean Origin is trying to get people to use it, then yeah its a marketing trap. Someone I know linked it to me, I used it; it worked, so I decided to share it with the people on here so they could get it for free (even if they have to use Origin).

It's a pretty good marketing strategy to make people hate them a little bit less. (still prefer steam, Desura, or a hard copy over Origin though).
